The blankets go above and beyond when it comes to heat tolerance and durability. The inner layer of the turbo blanket can withstand more than 1300 degrees Celsius of direct heat. The blankets are made with high quality 1 inch thick, 8 pound density ceramic insulation material and are covered with a silicone-based outer layer. Since vibration in a turbocharger is inevitable, we have created a more durable design. Our turbo blankets feature an inner layer of woven wire mesh that separates the insulation material from the turbocharger housing, greatly increasing durability and reducing breakdowns.

Installing a blanket will reduce up to 80% of the direct heat emitted by your turbocharger. In turn, this will allow the turbo to spool up faster and be more efficient.
