What is it for?

Removable and reusable thermal insulation go the extra mile when it comes to heat tolerance and durability. The inner layer of the blanket can withstand more than 1300 degrees Celsius of direct heat. The blankets are made with high-quality 8-pound density ceramic insulation material and are covered with a silicone, Teflon, or aluminum-based outer layer. Our blankets feature an inner layer of woven wire mesh that separates the insulation material from the turbocharger housing, greatly increasing durability and reducing breakdowns.

Installing a blanket will reduce 80% to 90% of the direct heat emitted by the flanges. At the same time, the insulation also protects against possible spills.

Applications

• Insulation can be manufactured to any pipe diameter.
• The fastening can be with a headband type fastener or with a stainless steel wire.
• Removable insulation can also be manufactured for hoses.
